Even if by some miracle we do sign him, he's going to be one sensational season away from playing for Real Madrid. A couple of seasons back we all would have said "fuck him", but right now I'm pretty sure the majority would take him even if they knew he had a Madrid clause written into his contract!
Anyway, he's of no use to us right now, what we have to do is get our act together and get in the top 4, so we actually have a shot of attracting players of Hazard's calibre in the summer.
