Gervinho has done well for us this season and I don't see why he always gets lumped in with players who have been nowhere near as good.

Gervinho done well? For a player that is starting for Arsenal?! Disagree. Almost none of the attack have imo. This is why we currently play such a horrendous style of play.

That I agree. When you have 2 tricky wingers that can dribble and take defenders out of the game, you create alot of problems for them.

on gervinho, he's done as well as most of wengers wide signings in their first 6 months. still, he shouldnt be a nailed on starter unless he's in super form

Gervinho is one of the best dribblers in the league, but his end product is Sunday League standard. Hilarious that he's more effective dribbling round a goalkeeper than kicking the ball past him.

No better than Theo, for me, flashier on the ball by miles, but not as quick and his lack of end product basically ruins him.

is something wrong with his legs? someone of his height and physique should be able to sidefoot it into the corner with power everytime. so frustrating.

I think we miss him - his workrate, his runs that take out a few defenders at a time - definitely a better option than Arshavin these days.

We miss him for sure. I think we could potentially look quite good with Gervinho and Oxpot on either side of RVP.

😆 Even more hilarious when you consider we need players who can help RVP with the scoring. He had 7 goals and 12 assists in 3 seasons for us in the PL. Beyond a joke.

I liked Hleb when he was here with us, I still even have a shirt with his name on the back.

I don't hate players who leave us regardless of how or why they leave, we might be fans but at the end of the day it's just a job to most of them.

With that said I still don't want him back here.

We miss having a quality player on the wing. Gervinho isn't that, and we'll all remember when he does come back from his hilarious exploits at the ACN
