There is more to football than just scoring goals, if that's what you're implying.

Imagine the damage Gervinho could do if he could pass and shoot. That is what Hazard will do for whoever is lucky enough to sign him.

Ehhh...

Anyway there isn't anything more to football than scoring goals. Scoring the most goals is the single objective of the game not matter what Wenger or the Barsenals try to tell you.

Chelsea need a centre forward, a creative centre mid and a whole bunch of defenders far more than they need another winger. I wouldn't be too unhappy about them getting Hazard at all.

Thanks for the football lesson!

What I'm saying is Hazard might only score a similar number of goals to Sturridge, for example, might even get a few less at first, but he's twice the player.

Look at Nani at United. He doesn't score a lot of goals, but he's incredibly dangerous. And he makes United a better team, a more dangerous team, by driving at opponents and beating his marker. Whether it's him that ends up with the goal or the assist isn't that important as long as he's making things happen.

wenger needs to re-gain our respect. we're all sick of his lack of balls.

He'd have to sign Neymar and Goetze to make up for last 7 years.

RvP flanked by Neymar and Goetze...

and then I woke up

😆 That pic has clearly been manipulated but, how can he POSSIBLY think that hairstyle works for him?! Doesn´t he have any real friends who can tell him the truth?!

Go clean shaved head like Henry ffs Gervinho....Maybe you might play a little bit like him too.

I think qs was confused at the bolded part of how you say there's more to football than scoring but then mention that Gervinho would be better if he could shoot. I assume you mean shoot to score?

I kinda miss Hleb, the stupid idiot. 🙁

We should focus on Jovetic. Fucking hell, I want that kid (please don't misinterpret that).

God damn it. I really want Hazard. I haven't seen enough of Jovetic tbh

It'll kill a dream I've had since I first started watching him. Wenger would turn him into one amazing bloody player.

So that he could sell him on?
Let Hazard go directly to where he would end up anyway if he came to us.

why is anyone surprised? we are transfer market cheapskates. we dont buy the best players, we buy the players whose transfer fee is most underpriced relative to their quality.

Too true. I don't want kids who describe us as a stepping stone before they get here.

Eden Hazard expects an agreement to be reached with #CFC for his transfer this week. Personal terms are close to completion. Fee approx 28m€

That guy works for BBC Radio 5 apparently. Not that means much, but more reliable than some random bloke claiming it.

I'd like to think that Arsenal could afford 28m Euro. I also imagine Hazard will be earning less than 100k per week.
Ambition free club.

28 million euros is peanuts for Hazard if thats true. Goodbye 4th place.
