  • Oxlade-Chamberlain getting ready for the new season

Looks lean. Hopefully he can improve his stamina with some training this summer. Could be the next player to break through for us.

He was in great condition in the World Cup warm up games.

Absolutely love him. He'll cause havoc this season

Exciting times for us Gooners.

So many players that can light up the League.

Oy, est. Time to change the tag line.

Heh, was thinking about it the other day. I'll change it after we announce the signing of you-know-who.

How can i change it?

Either have the op or go for the cheap option and tuck it between your legs

Who else will be back in training tomorrow? Cazorla?

I suppose Vermaelen and the French boys will have some more time off.

hope we don't see him in a cm position again. far too raw to play there.

If he's fit I'd start him. The best forwards are those that can beat a man and make things happen. That's his game.

He's got some chunky delts going on

a month later

Big potential, but can't shoot and his touch is inconsistent at best. He's a squad player this year.

Give him a chance Kel, he's barely kicked a ball.

He obviously can shoot, just had a bad day yesterday by trying quick snapshots when he had more time. But I don't mind that because his shooting technique is strength. We don't generally pepper the goal from outside the area so if we can give the opposition something to think about other than intercepting subtle passes into the area then that should help. Inconsistent touch, I agree with.

I think we need to give him a proper run of games for a few weeks to see if he can get some consistency. Wenger talked about the need for Wilshere to get 7-8 games on the bounce, Chamberlain might need to get himself a similar deal from Wenger.

He probably does need a proper run of games but does he deserve it? There are a lot of players vying for that spot so Ox will have to win it.
