Nah, he's pretty mobile. He releases the ball really quickly a lot, but sometimes wants to carry it up field. I've only seen him play in an actual game twice, rest of what I know is compilations. I'm looking at them now and in some of them he releases the ball absolutely lightning quick, much quicker than I thought actually. In fact, I was surprised a number of times at how quickly he was able to spot and execute the out ball, though not all of them were very accurate.
He's a pretty similar player to Matic, actually. Same league, same role, and people were saying the same thing about him, i.e. bumbling, clumsy, slow, etc. They've both got great technique and are big lads with a lot of physicality in their game.
I've always been a sucker for players like these guys, though. Really enjoy watching them play. A little Diaby-ish in that sense (not that they are similar players, but I like their style in a similar way if that makes any sense).
