he has been built into a bit of a mythic figure. excellent player no doubt, but lets not forget that vidal, pogba, and pirlo couldn't get juve out of the group stages last season.

hope juve keep him, but i think there'll still be clubs hovering around him until the end of the window

Yeah he's a quality midfielder but he's not going to turn a team like United into contenders. He's not Ronaldo, Messi or even Suarez.

Yes.

I honestly think a lot of people are judging him very superficially. He didn't have a strong showing at the WC because he was carrying an injury, but Vidal is the type of player who consistently wins games by himself.

Honestly, i wouldnt exchange Vidal for Ramsey.

I think so too. He might not be a Messi or an Ibrahimovic but he's the next best thing. Comparable to Yaya Touré in terms of impact from midfield. There isn't a better midfielder out there, and only two or three on his level. It would be devastating if he went to United. He'd paper over many of the cracks in their squad the same way van Persie did two years ago.

he's really really good, and he has that talismanic effect that the great midfield generals have. as for the rambo comparisons, it's apples to oranges.

Vidal is a slightly better version of Ramsey. Really just the complete midfielder and a magnificent player (though i expect Ramsey to become even better).

I think if Ramsey was playing at Juve in the Serie A, he'd tear it up more than Vidal has. Serie A is a step down in competition in my opinion.

It's a step down definitely, but Vidal is also the better player. I consider him the best CM mid along with Modric in Europe.
