He focuses more on his attacking game and his runs. He's playing more of the Ramsey role and I think Vidal is better defensively. Than there is dealing with his agent who constantly moans and touts his players every year until he can get the best deal.
I highly doubt Pogba could be had for under 50m pounds. There are rumours swirling around Pogba though (related to Madrid, Chelsea, United). That tells me that we need to close quickly if we are interested. We can't be waiting for everyone to get there's and then popping up when the sales are over

Only if the plan is to play him as a striker. Is he really capable of playing as a lone frontman? I'm not so sure myself. I see some of you guys putting him up as part of a front two but I doubt Wenger's going to change his formation. On the RW Walcott' already provides most of what Sánchez can give us and I can't see Wenger playing both Walcott and Sánchez on the two wings. Doesn't he traditionally like to play more of a playmaker on one of the wings? In the past Nasri, more recently, Santi and Jack. So yeah Vidal for sure.
I keep thinking we're going to hire a (dead) writer.

Why would we buy Pogba if we could get Vidal? Vidal is easily the better player IMO.
I agree that for now, Vidal has the advantage in terms of being at his peak, and experience at top level...
But Pogba is going to be a beast of PV-4 / Yaya Touresque proportions.

i don't trust us (or him and his agent) to have him playing for us when he becomes that type of player. that's when his agent is going to be angling for madrid. at least vidal is at the peak of his powers and we would be paying for that.
Pogba is a great player, but overrated atm. Big talent, but his game still needs work if he's to become world class.
Yeah but he's 21. He's got another couple of years before we can really assess him.

vidal is exactly what we need. if he's available for 40m, we should wire the funds now.
If Vidal ends up at united and we didn't even try to intervene ill be gutted.
