Was always hoping Costa to be a one season wonder and a flop, doesn't look likely at all now. Looks like the perfect player for Mourinho's system. Gonna be better for them than Drogba.

Only seen the goals so not best placed to judge, it is hard not to feel like we have no chance of competing with them this season, but we've got to factor in our fitness versus their fitness. We're a million miles from our best, they've hit the ground running, it can change quickly.

Still don't think we have the quality they do though.

We don't, but it's only been three games. Give it another month or two and we'll find out where we stand. Next reevaluation point is January after that.

Yep its early days but I will hold my hands up and say I got it wrong about Cesc. Really top class. I would say he made the biggest impact on Chelsea right now, even better than Costa. He just makes the entire team ticks and there were so many intelligent combination plays all round.

Cesc + Costa is absolutely deadly. Costa wouldn't be so effective if Cesc wasn't in that team.

We are at Evertons level right now, Chelsea and City are ahead, we need a central midfielder and centre forward, to be genuine title contenders.

Costa was super effective in a team without any dominant creative midfielder last season. Reckon that's just how he is as a player.

Chelsea look a different class. Turning down Cesc will be our big regret this year, if only because we have emboldened the enemy. I pray to the red god that Cesc doesn't humiliate us. If they can put 6 past Everton, they can do the same to us.
