The "you can only beat what is put in front of you" expression goes for keepers too. Think he's been quite good, not sure if Szczesny would've kept a clean sheet. But we would definitely have won if they played like this.

I didn't see him make a single save Vito Mannone wouldn't have made. Only difference is Gary Neville shouts less when Vito does it so people get less excited.

Of course he can only beat whats in front of him, and he's done his job today. Its just the way they are talking on Sky you'd think the saves he made were amazing.
