It was fair enough to question the impact Costa and Curtois would make. Not many players adapt as quickly and seamlessly like Costa has and if Torres is anything to go by, even proven PL players can become massive flops. It's a shame that they have both been this good so far, but it's also a massive credit to the people in charge of scouting/negotiating and Mourinho for taking the team so far with just 2 transfer windows. Really wish the people running our club were as competent.
Let's just pretend that Chelsea's limitless chequebook has nothing to do with their capabilities.
Liverpool's net spend since Mourinho returned to Chelsea: £64.43m
Chelsea's net spend since Jose Mourinho returned in summer 2013: £65.409m
Arsenal's net spend since Mourinho returned to Chelsea: £86.3m
Manchester City's net spend since Mourinho returned to Chelsea: £113.8m
Manchester United's net spend since Mourinho returned to Chelsea: £185.9m
