Kills me to say it but that Chelsea team is bang on in terms of balance, iron strong right through the spine.
It's their signings that's made a real difference.
I remember someone (was it qs?) who rubbished their new players and said something like Courtois won't even be off the bench etc. It was so obvious all the players they signed was quality.
😆 Well at least this is happening...
We'll get to 62 points and finish 3rd.Â

Don't know if you're joking but this possibility is very much on the table.
Chelsea are in a league of their own, City and Southampton are in some kind of limbo section and everyone else is not too far off the relegation teams. Mental.
Carragher appears to be on the verge of tears. He's baring his teeth a lot as well.
Carragher is adorable.

😆 why the jab to qs!'s ribs?
Deary me we are now level on points with Stinky Spurs who are dire
It has been a truly shocking season so far, no doubt about it.
It's quite hard to comprehend really. We do see so much of the ball so you'd think just probability would have us up there. Then again we've not had one convincing win bar maybe Burnley.
Surely we can't continue to be so poor/unlucky

Yeah, they never seem to suffer from injuries.

It's not unlucky, we make our own downfall.
How many fucking times do we need to have those illusory domination and see our opponents win to know this?

😆 Oh dear, Dules stops playing piano,......Biggus grabs whiskey bottle and ducks behind bar........
I am surprised Mourinho was so quick to use Curtois though, I thought he'd stick with the older player he knew better, which is his usual. I don't think I rubbished Costa and Fabregas though(obviously his character).
It was fair enough to question the impact Costa and Curtois would make. Not many players adapt as quickly and seamlessly like Costa has and if Torres is anything to go by, even proven PL players can become massive flops. It's a shame that they have both been this good so far, but it's also a massive credit to the people in charge of scouting/negotiating and Mourinho for taking the team so far with just 2 transfer windows. Really wish the people running our club were as competent.
Costa only had one good goalscoring season going into this one too, and had an awful world cup.
Frankly, I still don't think he'll maintain it.
Maintaining his current ratio would take him a bit past 30 league goals I guess, so that may be a bit much to expect. He gets to somewhere between 20 and 25, and I think that is more than anyone would have expected for a first season in the PL.

Let's just pretend that Chelsea's limitless chequebook has nothing to do with their capabilities.
