I think it will be either Everton or United in 4th. Both of them have better squads than Liverpool and Spurs. Everton usually finish their season on a strong note too, whereas United have the superior players.

No way Everton will finish top 4', they don't have the balls or the mindset to do so.

Utd will comfortably finish in the top 4. I agree with the Ultimate Warrior, they have looked much better in their last two games against top teams.

Oh and de gea's shot stopping is world class, best in the league for that.

As for Spurs they won't get top 7 never mind the CL spots.

United's main worry should be dropping points to the lower teams. They lack pace and power so can be got at.

I think Southampton will finish in the top 7 upsetting Spurs, Liverpool or Everton. I think we'll finish 4th.

Not so sure United are going to get that fourth spot. We've been through this before last season. They're not untouchable, far from it in fact.

However, I'd still back them for fourth over the other contenders, which was not the case last year.

They can't have looked shit if they drew vs Chelsea, and lost 0-1 to Man City who had lost composure against 10 men. Shit is when you get battered 6-0.

I don't think a 1-1 draw amounts to being shit. Certainly not if you also come out favourably in terms of possession and shots both on and off target.

United have managed 1 point from 2 games, that point was salvaged with a last minute equaliser. Thats not exactly a great sign as you are claiming. And you ignore that if the ref had done his job yesterday they would have conceded at least 3 penalties and been playing with 9 men. They are not a good side at the moment and the table reflects that. Stop looking at the reputation of their players and manager and look at their results and performances.

1/4 of the season done and its starting to shape up exactly as i predicted ... Chelsea, City, Arsenal, United, Liverpool. If we somehow manage to finish lower than 3rd i will be furious.

Never said it was a great sign. Just said that they weren't shit. I think they will be our biggest rivals for 3rd/4th.

Given the run of games they've had and the fact they only play 1 game a week, United should be doing a hell of a lot better than they're doing. I've not seen anything to suggest van Gaal is all he's made out to be.
