No. I don't like the way we are playing right now. It seems like we are in a continuous identity crisis. Chelsea could play way attractive football but the "tactical genius" prefers a small time approach.

Ok but you did say you'd rather we didn't win the league playing the way Chelsea play. It just alludes to the idea that you don't want us to win the league either becasue we don't even play as well as Chelsea.

Did they ever really play expansively since they got the cash? No. It's their identity as a club.

Their fans aren't complaining. It's winning them trophies.

In most big matches the guy seems to have a moment of magic in him, he really should have buried the chance though.

I'd like to shit on the defending there but (even if that's slightly quicker than real time) the speed at which he drove forward was frightening. Did something similar in the first half too. Willian's also got that crazy acceleration from a standing start.

Probably hit it too early but love an early strike before the keeper's set. Looks great when it works.

The defending was atrocious on both but like you say that burst of pace was frightening. In the first half left a couple of their players for dead with his dribbling. When we played them he was the difference on the day again with his dribbling and pace. Di Maria is another in the big games for R.Madrid his pace and dribbling makes the difference.

Don't think the defenders can do much about these moment of magic. Smalling tried to do what Koscielny did and he simply left him for dead.

Hoping Alexis can be as effective dribbling at speed like this. There's potential there.
