Argentina can certainly score but as a team they have been no where at their best in this tournament. They are slow and all over the place at the back and in midfield too. I am not sure if the Swiss have it in them to take advantage though. However, Argentina need to find their feet as a team quickly.

I think they were good enough yesterday. They attacked really well and looked cohesive, and they generally defended well. The second goal was pretty poor, but for the first goal no one really screwed up; the Nigerians just scored a really good goal.

Fernandez was at fault for the first one, he dived in and left the Nigerian fella in a 1 on 1 situation with the full-back.

IIRC the Argies had 3 guys back and they all fell off holding a pretty decent line. At some point one of them had to push up though to deny the ball carrier a free shot at goal right from the center, and that is what Fernandez did. Zabaleta 1 v 1 on the flank was probably the best result the Argies could hope for in that situation, and Zabaleta actually played Musa pretty well IMO; he just put a good move on and managed a top class finish. I really don't think anyone really made a mistake there. Was just a good goal.

I just don't think they have been at their best. Their front four is insane but to me they just don't look convincing.

I want them to win the whole thing. What should encourage them is that they are yet to peak. Unlike the last two World Cups, when the Argies peaked really early and went out against the first decent opposition, here they are yet to kick into the higher gears.

Think it is really only Aguero who has been disappointing in all 3 games.

I was all for Argentina to win this WC originally but outside of Messi they've been so short of anything inspired that I don't care any more.
Having said that I care even less about the Swiss, I'd even fotgotten they qualified.
