He's a psychopath but I like him. He'd been clean for a while now so this was on the cards, just a shame it didn't happen for Liverpool. Might've been banned for the season.

I read that he may face a 2 year ban - would Liverpool still have to pay him while banned?

I think he was but then it was while playing for his club. So I am not quite sure how it works. A blanket ban from football altogether is quite a punishment but one which he deserves.

Third time this has happened apparently. Once at Ajax, once for Liverpool and now. Shearer urged the authorities to give him the maximum punishment. He reckons it's "three bites and you're out". Might be the cleverest thing he has ever said.

I pity you poor deluded souls who were so desperate for us to sign him last summer. I 'predicted' then that he would do something equally stupid this season too. The only thing in this which I find surprising is that he managed to control his urges well into the WC.
Seriously, the man needs a) a lengthy ban from both club football and international football and, b) psychiatric help while on his 2 year 'vacation'.
Or a Hannibal Lecter mask. I can't quite make up my mind what I'd prefer.

Biting on the pitch is probably not worse than head butting or punching someone; people can understand and relate to a head butt or a punch though. Biting someone, if you are above the age of 5, is just so fucking bizarre and repulsive, and no one can really identify with what may make someone do it.

If anything it will probably benefit the scousers as I doubt any ban will extend to club matches.

Will be hilarious watching them attempt to defend him again though. The only thing that could've topped this was if he bit a black player

Suarez really is a nut job.

I bet at some stage in my life I have tried to bite somebody, but I would imagine I was under the age of 3 (which is a long, long time ago).

With Spain gone and Suarez almost certainly gone the cuntery factor is fast diminishing.
Major disappointments include Balotelli and Robben- Has he dived and rolled around once?
Putting all my hopes now on RvP and Christiano, not holding up much hope though.
