Is the quote accurate? Khedira would be a brilliant signing, and calling him an offensive box to box mid is just silly. He is a terrific all action midfielder.

wenger may yet skimp on this position. i fully expected him to neglect the arteta upgrade weve needed for so long, but all the speculation in recent weeks had got my hopes up

I'm expecting much more from both him and Ozil after they've had time to settle in.

He was just coming back from a long injury last season when he was drafted in to fight the good fight.
It was his first PL season in 5 years it's normal he faded after a great start where everyone who knows anything about football was raving about his performances.

Wenger's not right but I guess he just can't justify adding another midfielder because of our current numbers.

Looks like Khedira may stay at Madrid, which would be preferable to him ending up at another PL club.

He'll be useful for a while but he won't last the pace.

I on the other hand think he may be fine physically but definitely not starting quality if we want to win the League.

Arteta and Flamini are proper back ups though.
