Ah well, it was a good ol' dream for a few days.
Guess we'll have to watch him line up for City or Chelsea next season if he really is intent on leaving Madrid.
No way am I convinced that Schneiderlin is in any way as good a signing.
That will be evident whenever we meet a midfield containing Khedira.

A 6' 2" guy who plays both ends of midfield exceptionally well. I'm not sure why we're stuttering here. This is the guy Diaby was supposed to be. Almost within reach. We need to take a hit here if need be

Don't get the disappointment. I don't have any preference, Schneiderlin would be an utterly excellent buy for us too and arguably the better fit for us without the need to change much of our system/shape.

Simply put I don't think Schneiderlin's as good as we can get and I don't think he's a game changer.

I agree with that. Khedira will definitely improve us and is a game changer. Schneiderlin is a good player, but we should aim higher.

150k is ridiculous for a player in his position. I'm all for paying a little over the odds but only for a proven match winner.

Given he's in his final year and coming off an acl does anyone feel 20-25m is pretty steep?

I think paying £20m for Morgan Schneiderlin would be steep. That's why im 99% sure that aint happening as Arsene usually picks players like him up for like £8m.

even though modern surgery has made the ACL injury less of a career damaging injury as it use to be. i'm still concerned about them and think that once you have a major injury you're likely to injure something else. so hell yes i'm scared of that fee and his wages.
