what happened to the good old days of having 2 2-way central midfielders on a team? Ramsey-Khedira is about as good a midfield as we can get. two guys who can do it all.
We rely a lot on Ramsey for goals right now. Might change if we get a proper striker but right now Ramsey requires a lot of freedom to make late runs up the field. We play with high fullbacks too, Khedira needs to sit a lot to make that work if we play the same formation, and he might be capable of doing that but it's not his instinct/best qualities.
Anyone thinking that a 4-3-3 would be a possibility? Arteta/Flamini holders, Ramsey/Khedira/Wilshere CMs, Özil/Chamberlain/Podolski LW, Alexis/Walcott RW. Cazorla sold probably. Ramsey, Khedira, Alexis can all press high up the field, a lot of energy and work rate there.
