Coleman--BFG----Kos--Gibbs

Kwalitee

Walcott's not the RW starter right now. I like Coleman but would prefer spending 10m on a player like Lichtsteiner and using our resources to get bomb forwards.

ill be surprised if we drop 20m on the rb position. doesnt feel like we're spending alot this window

I'll be surprised if we've spent more than £20m in total.

I'd pay big money for him. Would make a big difference to our attack in the final 3rd but also our ability to build from the back which is really poor on that side. Coleman's dribbling ability isn't matched by many defenders, he's basically like another winger. Think of all those times that Sagna was left 1 v 1 in a great attacking position and either chucked in a cross or turned back and kept the ball....Coleman can do real damage in those positions. We need at least one full back that can attack with real purpose.

Added bonus that he's used to the league and at a good age. We'll miss having a RB that is so good in the air and is another option at CB though so i can see why Aurier might be the guy we go for.

We simply won't spend 20mil+ on a full back. Can't think of too many expensive ones in history.. Coentrao and Alves cost close to 30, Shaw might go for something similar, but I don't think Coleman can be put in the same category. He might be the best RB we could get but I'm pretty sure Wenger sees better value in the likes of Aurier/Juanfran who would cost less than 10mil.

He was terrible yesterday IMO and is at an age where he'll start losing his best qualities; pace, stamina, strengths etc

If Coleman is the best RB we can sign then we should go all out and sign him. Even pay over the odds if we have to. All this obsession with value for money should be behind us now, we have got a lot of money to spend if we want to.

Did you actually watch the game? He certainly wasn't 'terrible' and he must have run more than every other player on the pitch. Now, I don't think Wenger will go for him because of his age, but he should, but he is a quality player.

How much a player runs doesn't really interest me. And what did he do with all that running? He was brutal going forward. I hope someone has uploaded some of his crosses somewhere.

His final ball was pathetic. Definitely turned me off him, don't know if that's how he always is mind.

Eh, I rate Lichsteiner but yesterday wasn't his best game surely.

Anyway, age is really important for a fullback. Young ones are always certainly better than old ones.

At 25 Coleman is hitting his peak and he'd fit well into our squads age profile too. Obviously buying a peak age player costs peak money but we desperately need a right back and IMO we need an excellent fullback on one side or the other and while I like Gibbs he's just not in the same league as Coleman.
