Sooo which of the perhaps less than household names has impressed ya

Blind looks decent

Isla was very good at RB. Forgot about him as a possible replacement.

No one really. So far this world cup has been all about the big name players.

Its a bit early yet to amend our wish lists.

Blind was excellent. There were a few articles about him pre-tournament that he will be the one to watch, vindicated yesterday.

Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun impressed me for Mexico. Too bad the former is already bought by Porto and will be expensive.

Campbell looked bloody good. Will he be given a chance here next season? Certainly seems little point bothering with Vela again if we already have him.

Italy's right back looked good too, would be worth a look for us.

Joel Campbell.

Great technique and touch, plays a bit too deep for my liking though. Regardless, I want him back for this season.

Darmian was bloody brilliant.

Very impressed with Valon Behrami today.

Probably posted in the wrong thread so I'll say it here too; was impressed with the Ecuadorian left winger. Will watch him again.

-Aurier in the second half yesterday.
-Joel Campbell
-Dzeko and Pjanic were decent
-Balotelli

Di Maria was class throughout, and that Messi fella was pretty good in the second half.

Oh yeah and Di Maria. Another great game. We should sign him up

but they want to sell lichsteiner and keep isla.

I'd take Lichtsteiner. Quality player.

Really? Thought he had a shocker...

Same here. forget the fancy flicks and tricks, Di Maria was not effective in this game at all.
