The guy he's sarcastically clapping to is most likely his co-manager Torrent, MΓΌller-Wohlfahrt wasn't even in the stadium that day.
Nah, it was for MW. He was on the bench, but Pep clarified in his presser today that even though he gestured sarcastically towards him, it was more for himself being disappointed than being angry with MW.
Not the way to treat a club icon though.
Way to ignore my post π MW wasn't in the stadium mate, which is incidentally the reason Guardiola has his beef with MW - the latter spends very little time around the club and is mostly in his private office on the other side of Munich. I'd be pissed off to if my players had to drive an hour every time they had a problem to some old cunt who's more interested in making money than actually doing his job.
The injury situation at Bayern is getting ridiculous, Thiago spending more than a year out after reportedly receiving wrong treatment twice, Javi Martinez who was diagnosed to return early this year and is still out, Ribery who had a strain six weeks ago that was supposed to keep him out for four or five days and still hasn't returned. He even overlooked a concussion on Kramer during the fucking World Cup final. He's been criticised countless times for his treatment by the Dutch, French and Spanish FA among others. Guardiola is certainly not an easy person to deal with but I'm actually surprised he wasn't sacked earlier, he had similar problems with Klinsmann (and even left for while) when he was in charge.
