I think there's always a risk with complete ligament tears. I'm no expert by any means, but they are dreaded for a reason. Things like cyclops syndrom is one of them. The fact that the ligament went twice in a year might imply some biomechanical problem too; who knows. I feel sorry for the bloke either way. He looked like a really decent player.
