The most annoying thing is watching defenders just stand off the striker. I read an interview with Per a year or so back where he talked about this. Said it was a real shocker for him when he tried to adapt to Premier League, because in Germany they never get that close to the defender. There's never much physical battle for the ball. It sums up Bundesliga for me: fun, technical football, but at the end of the day they're just way too soft and tactically dull for me to enjoy it. Neuer, Hummels and Khedira are the only ones in the national team who have a bit of a mean streak in them.
