so what's your shopping list going to cost us Klaus?
What will our transfer net spending be this summer?
20-39 million
Maximum of two first choice players + a few back-ups signed depending on which squaddies are moved on.

I'd be happy with that. I'd like a winger though.

Not sure. £35 million for Cesc, £10-15 million for Morata and £10 million for Aurier maybe? We're talking a £50-60 million investment in the team. Goalkeeper and centreback will be picked up for scraps. We'll probably sign a one-year deal with Schwarzer.
These are not the players I would go for, by the way.
Who would ya go for Kla?
Cavani, and then try to solve the rest of the puzzle with whatever money we have left.
In order to spend 60m and still make Wengers customary 20m profit he'll have to sell Ramsey and Ozil.
You keep telling yourself that.
Meh, Wenger spent £42 million last summer or whatever it was. He'll dump money on players he likes when he has it and they become available. It just so happens that both factors seem to coincide this summer.

Yep, agree with that Klaus.
He'll spend big when it suits him.
Defense budget - 10-15m
Midfield budget - 25-30m
Attack budget - 25-30m
Total - 60-75m
i think we will pick up a Real reject again - di Maria or Benzema - for 30-35m pounds; Aurier for 10m or so, and another option for 15m (striker or winger depending on what Real give us). we will then find a cheap DM because Wenger doesn't really respect them [think Kallstrom]. Podolski and Vermaelen will stay.
so just under 60m pounds. but that's the new 30m pounds, so we won't progress relative to our rivals
I think only way Podolski stays is if we dont buy a winger - Di Maria, Griezmann, Draxler etc.
Why do you do this to yourselves every year?
60m+, lol

Unlike the rest of the world, who spend big just to shoot themselves in the foot on a regular basis...on purpose.
the la clippers were just sold for $2b. arsenal's spending power is so much bigger than you think it is, as is its unrealised commercial revenue.
i find it so weird that people take pride in the fact that arsenal is uber-profitable for its owners. you dont own arsenal, what do you care?
We're just proud that we aren't a bunch of cunts like the LA Clippers.
or maybe you're just brainwashed, either/or!

Such are the times. Club like ours is criticised or mocked for not spending more than we can afford.
