We are not getting a shiny new world class midfilder or any other top player unless he fits into Wengers perfect fantasy land footballer and the price that is in his head, this is the level we are prbably looking at now. Wenger doesnt give a shit about winning the league.
That said, i wouldnt mind this happening..

This is kind of my issue with this too though, think he is very talented and could be coached into playing the DM role really well but im not sure Wenger is the man to do that and 'curb' his attacking instincts, could learn it from Arteta i guess... but he seems to want to play in advanced positions
