I reckon we won't announce anyone until July 1st, when the Puma deal kicks in.

Puma would hardly be happy if we sign a superstar and show him off to the world in a Nike kit.

it's not like balotelli has ever done anything wrong like DUI or shot an intern with an airgun. he's done the things that some young men do, and he's sulked due to how backwards italy still is re: racism. he's getting married and is growing up. i don't think he's a character risk at all - it would be an opportunistic buy of an obvious top talent, like we did with henry, vieira, bergkamp, van persie.

i hope we've got this lined up and are waiting for the puma deal to start, but lets be real, we don't.

Prandelli always has him under control. Wenger could do the same.

His laziness on the field is appalling. In the first half he was absolutely dogshite, 2nd half when he was willing to run he was much better

thought he made some good runs all game myself. he was pretty much completely isolated most of the game, not many italian players made runs beyond him

All he did was score the winner, he didn't assist or even pre-assist the other goal or tackle back to help out the defence or anything.

If this season was anything to go by he'd have to deal with a lot of that here too.

Balo could lack focus to play as a lone striker. In tough or crucial games a strikers job is often to stay alert for one or two that comes his way every 30 minutes or so. Wonder he could be focused enough for that...

In that regard Costa to Chelsea is a very good signing. He is always in the game and can latch on any half chance and prove to be a menace.

Costa is a very hard working player. He's physical too which I wonder will that part of his game stand up in the PL? A lot harder to bully a midtable La Liga defence than a PL one. I just hope the papers latch on to his cheating ways quickly so the refs pay more attention to it.

Held up the ball fantastically for Italy against England. Never gave the ball away, laid it off for the Mid, and ran the Cb into the channels towards the GK.

Great performance of concentration and hard work.

theo, ramsey, ozil, and oxlade can alleviate that. we struggled last season when all of those boys were out
