I'd concur with that Patters. Said this earlier, but we've got a decent game plan when we need an outcome against weaker teams. We can even come back from a goal or two down on a fairly regular basis.
What we don't have is a threat from nowhere against organised defences - the likes of Giroud and Podolski don't flourish in those cases, by and large. Walcott's our only weapon.
Despite some variably well founded fears about his scoring rate, attitude, professionalism, star sign etc, I think Balotelli could arguably provide that on some of the occasions that have troubled us for the past twelve months. So could Lukaku.
