Think we're all slightly joking. No one was near Giroud as he was sprinting. Everyone seems fast when they're racing by themselves.

Except Mertesacker

Fixed Pat.

Matuidi is superb. Such an engine

Great tackler too. Every time near that right back position.

Sign him up!

Y va what do you think of valbuena?

His dwarfiness distracts me but he makes things happen in attack.
Lively, effective.

Valbuena is our Giovanni dos Santos - better for France than l'OM.

He'd be dreamy alongside Ramsey

So so impressed by him

The French team has the most balanced team in this tournment

We got linked with him every season when he was at Saint Etienne. We won't get him from PSG now.

Watching 8 out of 10 cats does countdown now. France look like they will win the World Cup

That's because his team mates in Marseilles are so far off his level that there's no one to complement him properly.

On another note, Matuidi is a top player. It's been apparent for the last two seasons that this is a guy Wenger truly missed out on. Could have signed him for peanuts when he played for St Etienne and Comolli was their sporting director but Wenger passed on the opportunity. Very strange in hindsight considering Wenger's fondness of Ligue 1 bargains and our almost permanent need for a DM.

But Giroud has been the best player on the pitch. That assist for Valbuena's goal was epic!

Giroud looks to play really well with another striker in close proximity who can set him up and vice versa.

Eh? We have known that for a long time now.

So, do we want Benzema or Balotelli?

Thought it was more theory than known fact considering the number of times he's played with another striker at Arsenal can probably be counted on one hand.

As for the goal, thank fuck we got rid of Big Phil 😆

Decent pass from Pogba though.

Senderos.

Trying to smash it with his Septic peg 😆

The ball by Pogba, immense

Nah, he always play much better with Podolski, even though its not a 4-4-2.

😆 5-0. Djourou and Senderos as your centrebacks, asking for trouble really.

Wasn't Switzerland one of the hipster teams this year?

Tony Greaseman not playing => 5 goal rampage. Coincidence?

Senderos-Djourou partnership is as tragic as the Gerrard-Henderson one.

Almunia, Senderos, Djourou, Song, Denilson

Mouthwatering

Swiss get one back because Benzema is a coward. Pathetic from him.

I like this France team. That makes it kind of sad that when they inevitably go out, it will most likely be because Koscielny and Sagna are on the bench.

Oh my god how unlucky is that. Benzema denied a great goal.

Absolutely pathetic refereeing. Should be disbarred and publicly flogged for that.

Had Benzema not miss the penalty, had the OG become his and that goal stood he would have had 6 goals. Absolutely wonderful tournament for him thus far.

You mean it could have been a wonderful tournament for him so far. All those things didn't happen, remember?

By no means the most controversial final whistle in World Cup history, Rex Nela & Klaus will know this one from Argentina 78.
Rowan Atkinson denies Brazil.

It has still been a wonderful tournament for him. How can anyone say otherwise even if he was denied of those?
