Englands midfield is terrible though. No balance at all. If they go with Gerrard Henderson its going to be an utter disaster.
Jack should be number 10 for England. He won't be because of Rooney but he should be. When you have runners like Sturridge and Sterling you need someone to thread a great pass in, no one in the England squad can do that at Wilsheres level. Rooney will get the 10 spot though because he's Rooney.
Jack starting with or ahead of Rooney would make so much more sense, mainly because that would allow England to play like Liverpool.
Gerrard deep, Henderson in his usual role, and Wilshere emulating Coutinho's role in midfield.
