A professional on and off the pitch...
Good luck Bac....Hope it works out for you....

So many sads. 🙁

Meh I see it as an opportunity to get a better attacking fullback

Me two, let's wrap this up early as we have a lot to do this summer

keep getting them cheques bac. thanks for the memories

Jenko better not be his replacement. Sagna was as solid as they come but he's replaceable.

For shame.

See you later Bac ...

lol at sagna being easily replaceable. look at the numbers, he's easily the best defensive RB, and the best short-passing RB in england. it's a big loss.

I feel like he never again dominated his flank like he did in his first season. It's a chance to freshen things up for us.

Definitely.

His short passing was pap too. Couldn't work his angles well and just passed inside a lot

Superb engine and headerer though but that's gonna fade soon enough.

Good centreback option though

Thank you for your service Bac, one of my favourite Arsenal players. probably in my top 3 favourite Arsenal defenders.

A key man in those bleak times when we were behind in that dog fight with Spurs for fourth.
I'll always be grateful to him for that, good luck to him.

I wish him well. In a way, it doesn't really matter where he's going, just that he is.

For his brilliance and commitment over the last seven years (particularly this year when he could have "clocked off" mentally), I thank him. I also thank him for that goal against Spurs, one of my favourite "I was there" moments and displacing that clown Eboue from the right back spot.

Delete this thread. Just another wanker leaving to a rival for money.

Your view would appear to be a minority one so the thread stays, will probably close it when an official annoucement's made as to where he's going.

Fair enough but its just a matter of time until he signs for City. Find it very weird that so many are ok with his move. Just another rat as far as i'm concerned.

I'm not sure how you can call someone who had seven years of service here "a rat". As Neil Finn once said, he served us well!

Isn't that about all you can ask these days?
