Anyone know much about him? Spurs have been linked for a while now
He's the most talented young Dutch defender around. It's far too early for him to move though. He has only become a started this season. Physically he needs to do a lot of growing up as well. He'd get murdered here with his frame.
Ideally need someone who can step in now if required, going to lose Sagna and probably Veramelen so like losing 2 CBs.
As we need so much investment in the squad so cant do so but we need to be a bit more like Chelsea. Buy up good young talent and send them out on loan to develop.
He's a bit like Kos in that he has very good anticipation. He's not very tall though and not very strong either. I wouldn't have him anywhere near the squad until he bulks up. Buying him and leaving him at Ajax for 2 years would be a good option if the price is reasonable.
We don't really do that though. We only do it when we are forced to for players who can't get a work permit.
He's good technically but yeah looks like he'd be up against it physically. Could be a good utility man
Better to get Aurier who is more psychically prepared and can play LB, CB or RB.
Kid looks talented, but he made his debut in the second half of this season and makes a good few howlers type errors.
