Rule says two players need to be between the player and the goal, but we usually think of it as one outfielder because it's very rare that the keeper isn't the man closest to goal.

Yup, never heard that. It's not like the scenario presents itself very frequently in football.

Some of it, sure. We constantly play in a fashion where our players' weaknesses are exposed when the opponents put some pressure on us, though. That signals a broader flaw in our setup to me. It's not like we've looked better with other players in that position.

Giroud making a good few runs today which is good to see. Arteta playing some great balls forward today too. Santi playing with a bit of fire in his belly which is good to see. Mesut looking good too. Decent overall.

Newcastle absolutely pathetic though. If we really go at them we could easily get 5 or 6.
