Interesting to watch the game at the stadium. A few things I noticed:
-Giroud is truly a shit striker. His movement off the ball is laughable. He jogs around and looks clueless and careless. Hardly makes runs off the ball and is in no way a passing outlet for our midfielders. We desperately need a new striker. Giroud is fucking horrible.
-Podolski is really poor off and on the ball. Isn't able to get into the game at all and looks lost at times out there. Doesn't know how to position himself, doesn't know how to create space for himself and is slow and cumbersome on the ball. Should at best be a squad option next season.
-Koscielny is top class. Brilliant at everything he does. Reads the game very well, plays with intensity and awareness, has pace and is solid and calm on the ball. Great cb.
-Ozil is easily our most gifted player. Great vision, close control and movement. We need to surround him with better players.
-Cazorla is strange. Brilliant at times, frustrating at other times. So much potential, but just really sloppy.
