If it is contingent on Madrid buying Reus then I'd keep the hopes low. Reus is not the kind to throw a fit, he's just signed a new contract and Dortmund won't be able to get good replacements at this stage of the season.

Dortmund have held players till the end of their contracts in the past. So, I really don't see Reus moving at this stage of the window.

well, there are like 3+ weeks left in this window so if they sell now, they have plenty of time to buy

and, from what people have said, him signing a new deal allowed dortmund to get rid of his buyout clause, and it just means they can get more for him now. they are in transition, im sure if madrid offer £50m they'd sell

Dortmund could definitely use the money to reinvest. There's Draxler on the market who could be the next Reus-level player, for instance. They could buy him and still have a sizable amount of money left, and they would get their highest earner off the wage bill. That's good business for a CL club that will miss out on a full year's Champions League revenue. Besides, Reus has been injured a lot for the past two seasons. It's one of the reasons they failed so badly last year.

I believe the rumours for what it's worth. They're consistent this time and seem to come directly from within Real Madrid.

I believe that we are interested. Just feel that we won't get him if the deal is contingent on Madrid geting a big player (other than De Gea signing). It is August and they have not aggressively gone after any big player apart from De Gea.

reus wont force his way out, but im sure dortmund politely ask him to consider the offer when they hear how much real are throwing at them
