No chance Suarez will leave Liverpool this summer anyway in my opinion.
Plenty of rumours of him wanting a watertight clause in his contract, I think the agreement him and Liverpool came to is the clause is only active for foreign clubs. Heard some say £70m and some say £90m, not sure which is correct. While he wanted to join us last summer there had been speculation he really wanted the R.Madrid move and was hoping they'd get involved. And that he would of forced his way a lot harder if they had got involved. He'll leave straight away if they come in for him, no chance he'd turn them down imo. Also Liverpool aren't exactly flush with cash either, they still need to redevelop their stadium and are running at big losses every year.
As for Benzema, you're right he has been wasted at R.Madrid. Not the first player to go there and have his talents wasted mind you. Realistically we ain't gonna sign anyone better than him and we desperately need a striker. Wenger has wanted to work with him for years, he'll get plenty of chances here and I think he'll improve here. Like you've mentioned this season he has already looked better than previous years. But when players play alongside C.Ronaldo they usually have are set up to get the best out of him. If a fucking donkey like Giroud can manage 14 league goals here no doubt imo Benzema would easily score 20+ It might be too late to make him the complete package he threatened to become but if anyone can improve him further it is Wenger.
IF we are in for him I hope we don't get into the same situation as Ozil, where until the Bale transfer was finalised they wouldn't let him go. Need to make a move early and wrap this one up early if he is the player we go for.
