RocktheCasbah how long do they take to notify you if you've been successful in the ballot?

GooneriC well, that's a really great question...I still haven't been notified, but I definitely have the ticket(s). And I didn't get the "unlucky"email.

I'm guessing it's just a glitch.

I'll be in London from mid October to mid September. Might be time for OMITT to come together and make sure I can get tickets to each game. As you are all aware, I still have a 100% record at Highbury/Emirates. Its not for me, its for the club. 😂

But yeah, on a more serious note, would be great to catch up with some of you lot to watch a game somewhere or the other.

Ok so I've got two tickets to Arsenal Sevilla via red ballot , aren't they supposed to be automatically added to my Digital pass or is there a delay?

GooneriC It'll be updated closer to the fixture, usually done when its the next home fixture.

Updated now . So all set for the game . One question , do I have enough time after the game to get to Victoria Coach station by by 11:30 pm? Whats the quickest way , tube or minicab/uber?

GooneriC yes you do. 😁

Quickest way would be Victoria line from either Finsbury Park, or Highbury & Islington, it'll take about 15 minutes once on the tube. You'll probably have to queue for a while to get in though, so if you're super worried about time, it may be worth (and I'd never normally advocate this) leaving early. It can be murder getting away from the stadium, particularly in the evening.

GooneriC you'll absolutely be fine. I've gotten out to Gatwick and Heathrow after late kick offs for flights earlier than that.

I'm in London and just managed to score a ticket on the Exchange for tomorrow.

I downloaded the App but the ticket is not showing up on my digital pass, and I have not received an email confirmation, but it comes up on the website when I log in to arsenal.com.

Any idea how to add the ticket to my digital pass?

It should come up eventually. If you want you can refresh your digital pass on your phone and see if that works.

How have people lucky enough to get a ticket found the atmosphere this season?

I've seen a few suggestions that the randomised nature of the ballot system means more casuals are getting in rather than those who go through the effort of queuing up at 9am on the morning of ticket releases.

goon It seemed a bit quieter to me at the Sheff United game, but then I was sat above the lower tier of the Clock End rather than being in it. There again, James mentioned to me that he'd seen lots of stuff online about it being quieter a couple of months back.

It's fucking insane to think two seasons ago, you could basically get a ticket anywhere in the ground on a Silver membership and now I'm 1/5 in the ballot process. Despite the fact that Arsenal have apparently cleared out alllll the bot accounts etc. Bloody Arteta.

I thought it was just down to heightened expectations and the slower football, I didn't consider it might have to do with the new ticketing system. Anecdotal evidence suggests there's been a return of the 'leave 10 mins before/after half time/full time' type getting back in.

Yep, remember I got the kids tickets in the family enclosure like 2-3 days after red member tickets were released a couple of seasons ago.

Definitely a fair few of those around a couple of weeks ago. A couple of guys strolled in at 20 past three in our block - and more than a few people missed our last two goals in the game. I know it was done and dusted by then, but isn't the whole point of going to football to watch your team score goals? I'll never fathom these people, especially at a 3pm Saturday game.

Yeah. That sort of thing was rife pre-Covid.

Yesterday was the first time since then that you see half the lower tier clear out 5-10 mins before the end. I get it’s a late midweek game but you didn’t get that even in the bloody EL last season, as least not from memory.

I could understand it pre-Covid when you could go whenever you wanted. Now you think you'd be staying because its harder to be there in the first place.
