For what it's worth Essien was named 'The Bison' in Ghana. More original in my opinion.

I didn't think Song was that big actually. But obviously TV doesn't say much.

All call most big players "apes" no matter what colour they are. I spent 90 minutes screaming it at Jan Koller in an international once. Actually I've called a fair few bouncers apes in my time too, not recommended.

Not here as a member of the thought police. Empirically, despite the general usage, I think there's a slightly greater tendency to suggest an ape-like or beast-like quality about black players, but eh.

My brother is going to UK for the first time later on this month and it happens to coincide with the spurs game! I tried to look for tickets online but the Arsenal website indicates I dont have any privileges to purchase tickets.

Would the tickets be sold out by now? Can anyone help me with how I should go about purchasing tickets for the game? I am a bit clueless...

Edit: The worldticketshop.com have tickets from 165 pounds upwards! Is that a fair price?

At this point, you would be pretty lucky to get tickets for that game without paying through the nose.

Yeah, should I just book them through that site- world ticket shop ? onlineticketexpress.com also have tickets starting from about 149 pounds ( category 2). Just dont want to get conned. He is desperate to watch the game, he might not get a chance to go back to the UK anytime soon.

I have bought tickets off scalpers outside the stadium at roughly that price for games with less prestige than the North London Derby. £150 seems a pretty good price!

That's probably your best bet.

I don't know what category 2 is but the cheapest tickets are in the lower tier. All of the seats are good so I wouldn't worry too much; usual difference is in the amount of noise generated by those around you but it should be pretty decent all round for Spurs.

Doesn't catagory 2 usually refer to the level of game, not where you are in the stadium?

They use letters and there is no way that Tottenham would be category 2!

I think it's just the way that website categorise the price differences.
