If Hazard goes to PSG that's the end for Cavani there, seeing as he's been pushed out to that left hand side all season.

No, he's just repeating what @f9RealSociedad tweeted and saying that he doesn't think it's true. The transfer fee seems too high to be believable.

Rumour has it that a transfer for Arturo Vidal has broken down because United don't feel like paying the asking price of £35 million. That's 6 million more than Fellaini cost them last season.

It's obviously bullshit, but it's a very pleasant rumour all the same.

Griezmann would start at LW for us. We obviously have more than enough players there though.

United getting Vidal is a scary thought. They'll be back up there soon enough but that would be a little too soon.

Depends if he wants to get paid. No other reason to go there this season.

If I was a player, and just saw that United had signed a £75m per season deal, I might sign with them. That deal means that they can buy one Vidal-level player more than us every single season. They will be back in the top 4 latest in the 2015-16 season.

I wouldn't sign for them. Their level isn't very high right now and they play in a very competitive league. It could take years for them to win the league again, let alone the CL.

That means that as a 27yo world class player (as Vidal is) I'd be wasting my best years bringing a club back to the top.

united are still a big draw, with their finances they'll probably be back in the CL next season. plenty of players would take a mega salary and hedge that they'll be competitive again soon

i'm interested to see where cavani lands. if he leaves PSG, we probably won't go in for him but we should sniff around whatever good striker he dislodges at his new club

We've made our big striker move already. If we waited we might have got cavani but we might have got nobody. Cavanis wages would be a stumbling block anyway isn't he on 250,ooo.oo per week ? Double ozil Ramsey or Sanchez

You all just wait and see. When PSG have finished shopping they have probably landed Luiz, Di Maria, Hazard and one of Pogba/Toure. They will need to sell and we will be there to get Cavani!
