Don't believe it. Could it happen? Definitely. Before the world cup? Quite unlikely. Both player and club stand chance to gain if he has good WC.

On the other hand I expect Sagna to sign somewhere before. Reason for that is at his age if he gets a serious injury at training or at the WC he's not getting a big contract or going to a big club.

Gunner, I really don't buy this good World Cup story.
This was probably the case during the France or even Japan World Cups, but at this stage, each one of us has seen Kroos at least 10 times this year. And we aren't scouts. European-based players aren't going to bump up their value by having a good World Cup

United have a huge amount of money to spend. Not at all implausible that they could persuade a player like Kroos to commit early.

It influences price value of players for sure.

The bold statement is flawed. Our 42m purchase had a flurry of clubs after him after his performances in the world cup. Real Madrid signed him on the basis of that.

If United sign Kroos, I can't see them going for Fabregas as well, maybe City might get involved.

I rather sign Kroos than Fabregas. At least the former can play as the deepest midfielder

Bayern I think have hinted that Kroos won't be allowed to leave, the papers are now saying Man Utd have ended their interest on Van Gaal's orders.....

Nobody's going nuts but he's decent defensively and has a great engine. Would have complemented Ramsey nicely IMO.

seriously though - how are PSG able to afford a 50m pound move for David Luiz?
does that mean someone like Cavani could be on the move?
also annoying because it means Chelsea have managed to raise over 80m pounds for David Luiz and Mata.
