I think the ozil fee must have been new territory for RM. Used to selling of thier players for low fee they must have been surprised by what we paid for him. Suddenly they are asking huge sums for players like Morata, Khedira and Di Maria. Makes it tougher for Agents like mendes to negotiate deals for their clients. If these players move on and enjoy successful careers, it would kinda make Madrid a 'selling club'

nope. a selling club is one that sells good players and replaces them with prospects.
Arsenal until recently; Newcastle and Everton are examples of selling clubs.

Lloris has signed a new contract, surprised. Perhaps he asked for a release clause. Liverpool heavily linked with Bony, rather we signed him than Remy.

Swansea bought him last summer for a big fee by their standards. I prefer him to Remy too but Liverpool will have to bid Andy Carroll money before Swansea think about selling.

Evra has asked Man United to allow him to move to Juventus. Shit as he may be defensively, he'd still be another experienced head leaving the dressing room; so I'd be for it. Puts a lot of pressure of Luke Shaw to perform right away as well.

I wonder if we could poach Kwadwo Asamoah from Juventus off the back of this? Can't imagine Evra us going there to sit on the bench.
