According to Lothar matthaus will be an Arsenal player this summer. Wenger showing where his priorities lie once again?
Interesting player. I read a good article a couple of weeks ago about this lad. I'll try to find it after the game.

Drmic has scored as much as Lewandowski this season for what it's worth. Second only to Mandzukic in the Bundesliga top scoring table.
That's fine. He seems to have a great record. 15 league goals in 23 starts. But it's not a proven signing by any means. He's a kid who's had one purple patch of 9 goals in 10 games in 2014. Tell you what Klaus given the resources we have is this the best we can do?
I'll bet everything I own right now that we're not bringing him in as a starting player.
Looks promising. Good physique and technique
A guy like this won't be coming in to play 5-6 league game like Sanogo. Unless Giroud leaves we're not keeping 3 decent strikers on our books in 1 man striker system. It's one thing keeping a guy like Bendtner and a young striker with no top flight experience giving them little game time. It's another to give it to a guy who's playing regularly and scoring more than Giroud.

Sanogo would have played more if he'd been physically capable when the season started. My gut feeling is that he'll be sent out on loan next season.
I am firmly of the belief that we don't need superstars. Just bring in good players regardless of their status and when they become superstars fucking keep them.
Anyway, this idea that we won't sign anyone else is just bullshit speculation. Here's a good talent with a good goalscoring record and he could go for as little as £5 million, and people still find a way to put a negative spin on the story?
He has giroud like finishing capabilities. No thanks
When was the last time we signed and loaned a striker?
The video above has to be the worst one ever made. Shocking.
I know. 😆 I learned nothing about him!

Unfortunately with Wenger you can't say. If he's a signing supplemented by another forward it's great. But past experience suggests otherwise.
Why not sign this guy in January then? The whole point we didn't get anyone according to Wenger was, we have Sanogo, or the top class quality is cup tied and not willing to move in January. This guy would have been a decent January signing.
underwhelming would be an understatement
He has a good record, and there is every chance he might be the new Lewandowski. I am all for us to sign someone as promising as this, as long as we spend big on other areas.
Spend big in other areas? This is the area we need to improve the most.
Having a striker who scores regularly and scores in the big-games. Hardly fair to expect a 21 year old to do that.
He's Bendtner's replacement
