No it's not. He's just another bang average player who doesn't make a genuine difference. You can have him or lose him without any visible difference. We'd probably be out of the FA Cup too if he had been in goal against Liverpool instead of Fabianski though. He's done nothing to get the nod here.

Nobody chooses who is to be the focal point of their frustration and anger Biggus.
It just goes to what attracts it.
For a lot of people it's the man who should be tearing defences apart and scoring defining goals.

ABG - anyone but Giroud, rather Sanogo or Podolski up top as both look more likely to score.

Chamberlain and Ramsey need to start too, and I'd like Rosicky over Cazorla simply because the latter has no pace/strength.

Am I the only one who is dreading this? Should be something to look forward to but instead I just can't face another Birmingham.

Now that 4th is in doubt is there a worry Wenger prioritises the league games and rests the key players? I can't imagine him risking losing Ramsey again so quickly at least. I guess the amount of injuries means there isn't really anyone to come in for most positions anyway.

This game for me is the Super Bowl, wrestlemania 30, who shot JR, breaking bad final episode, wimbledon and the World Cup final rolled into one.

If this was being advertised on HBO it would have the tag line : 'it all comes down to this'.

This is a decade defining game. Speaking about wrestling if this was the wwe this would he a 'lose and retire' match for Wenger.

Strangely I cannot wait.

This is the biggest match IMO since CL final 2006 as there is so much riding on it for us but esp for our crazy old coach.

Worst part is those two weren't even our worst defenders. Mertesacker was nonexistent, Vermaelen was literally playing centerback by himself most of the game.

Vermaelen could have easily cleared the ball that led to the first goal, and then Monreal screwed it up further by letting Lukaku get goal side of him. Those were the crucial mistakes which led to us having to chase the game.

I bet that Lukaku on the left was not a reaction to Gibbs not playing though. Playing Naismith as a false 9 to crowd the midfield when we were in possession, while playing Lukaku wide with clear orders to not track back but exploiting the space we always leave behind our FBs - that was clearly not something Martinez came up with last minute.
