Giroud is going to play there for the foreseeable future unless we get someone like Cavani as Wenger will not overpay (Griezmann) or a buy 30 yr old striker (Vucinic).
For peace of mind, i think of Giroud as some kind of forward anchor midfielder rather than a striker.
