I disagree. Want City to get to the Semis before going out. They look every bit a team that would draw with some midtable side after a big midweek CL game.
Iniesta <3 us
Agree with QS. Kill two birds here. Keep City involved in 4 competitions and get rid of that cheating scum, Barca.
Speaking of which, has there been any progress from UEFA regarding this Neymar fee? Is Platini going to investigate their accounting (or lack thereof)?
Hush hush agreements get in the way of investigation results.
I'd rather City lost or at least struggled badly to some sort of Pyrrhic result. Fearing the prospect of a league-CL double might get them right in the groove.
I agree. Look at the run they put together after the confidence they gained by beating Bayern.
Seriously torn here, City certainly don't lack squad options and can cope with a 3 front attack, what they do lack is confidence as a team under pressure so them getting knocked out would be great.
But on the other hand I'd support satan himself against Barcelona.
Maybe Qs' suggestion is a good compromise.
There were plenty of our players openly speaking about how great it would be if Suarez joined, and all the Germans have openly been speaking about Draxler several times. Honestly, I mainly think that it is an issue of reporters repeatedly asking questions to the players about potential transfer targets. Hard for the players not to give an answer. It is of course terribly irritating when it is one of our players!
I think Man City have a very good chance of knocking Barcelona out. It will be two attacking teams with poor defenses up against one another, so I reckon the matches will be very much fun to watch. Don't really know which team I'd like to go through.
Defo want City to do well.
A win for city with a couple of injuries would be perfect
Hope Barca smash them tbh. Destroy their confidence.
You and Volly would have to be pretty delighted with that result......
Any proper Arsenal fan would be delighted to see Manchester City fail.
Locking this, it's run its course and turned bitchy. Hope it's a while before the next thread we see with "Iniesta" in the title.
