He helped Bayern win Champions League, Bundesliga and the German cup. Sure he's average.

he's much better than the mess we have
Mandzukic has scored 32 goals in 47 starts for Bayern in the Bundesliga and Champions League. Much better ration than what Giroud has managed for us. Not only that, Mandzukic is vastly superior to Giroud in terms of mentality, work rate, first touch, link play, and back to goal.

Like i said if we can't acquire one of the top 3 available 9s in Europe this summer, i would rather have RvP back than stick with Giroud or sign another Yaya Sanogo. Wenger knows that RvP looks after his body, is a model professional so he will go strong into his 30s and despite his recent injury he has only been out for 2 months in the last 3 years to put it into perspective and that was only because Moyes rushed him back from a minor groin injury. Saying he's back to being injury prone is like calling Ramsey or Messi injury prone just because they happened to pick up an injury.
You've always been a massive massive fan. Ever since he came. I remember you in threads 7, 8, 9 years ago on A-M.
Yes you're right, i was a massive fan boy since he joined when i was 14 years old. If i remember correctly Me, Gurgen, Sabre, aclockworkorange and that guy who got controversially banned in 06 were his biggest backers. The old school Arsenal Mania was awesome. Good times.

CL ain't the be all and end all
It's the difference between paying for the likes of Ozil or paying for the likes of Lamela, Soldado, Eriksen etc.
Mandzukic is a rich man's Giroud. Better goalscorer, scores in big games, etc.

Tegh?
YuenBiao?
fuck this maggot. rather take a punt on balo or mandzukic.
wenger is such a softy with his players, this rumour may be true tho.
Giroud would probably score 25 goals a season in bundesliga playing for the monopoly of Bayern.
It's not just the goals. Gomez scored 41 goals for Bayern in 11/12 and he was useless. They upgraded him with a player who scored half as many and won the treble the season after.
Ahem Robin Van Cuntsie?
Do people actually think there is truth in this rumour?
Wenger wouldn't dare.
I'm sure the conversation happened. Tancredi seems to have a pretty detailed account of it and Daily Mail ran the same story with less detail a while ago. I don't think we're serious about actually re-signing him however. Too risky for a number of reasons, and Wenger doesn't put much stake in players who have hit thirty.

Yea thats the one. Used to have an Ian Wright avi. Top lad.
There's no other player this meeting could have been about?
Vermaelen is the only other Vos client it could have been about.
I would kiss robin toes , come back hero.
We are, naturally, thinking from our point of view but we should consider his, as well.
There are no guarantees, so he has to consider what he loses from this deal and, bearing in mind how both clubs treat their post 30 yr olds, i cannot see him giving up what he has there. He may have picked up Rooney's cunty contract negotiation skills and decided to use us for his ends.
It may have been a cunty destabilising mind games ploy that i hope backfires, as Giroud cannot get any worse, but this may give him the required kick up the backside.
