Centerback from West Ham. We were linked last summer.

Wishlist: Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Lars Bender. Or similar.

Young guys with a lot of energy and quality. The games won't pass them by.

Papadopoulos was out for over a year and has been struggling heavily with fitness since then, right? Not the guy I would spend any money on presently.

Only 3 players (Suarez 52, Van Persie 37, Sturridge 31) have scored more league goals than Romelu Lukaku since August 2012

Worth considering - no way that Chelsea would sell to us I suppose.

I'd take Lambert over Giroud as a backup every day

As for Lukaku, he's a beast and also a really likable character (smart, loves the game, clearly hungry to improve, etc.). He'd be a beast for our team and I could care less that his passing % isn't that great....leave that to the midgets.

4 - In 477 mins away at Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd & Spurs in 13-14, Olivier Giroud has hit 4 shots on target. Scarce.

I bet all four were guilt edge chances that he fluffed as well.....

Who needs stats to prove that Lukaku is a lot better than Giroud though? Honestly, there must be plenty of strikers in the league who would trump Giroud in those particular categories, and that is not even taking into consideration which players are behind the striker to give service.

1 shot on goal per 89 minutes?! Which strikers in the league do NOT better that ffs!

Just posted them because I was idling about and they amused me.
