Every club has their development pitch ready to sell to the player, and if I were a player I’d rather hear from a successful club that has brought through young players than one languishing with the dregs of the league. Liverpool can point at quite a few young players doing well in their current set up, and Klopp has the personality and history with Dortmund to convince those with doubts that they can come in and compete. At that age you believe in yourself first and foremost if you’re the profile of player they would want.
