Nelson is much more talented than Saka in my opinion, the latter just has a better mentality.

Feel like I've been saying this for 15 years now, but if he were a young player on Aston Villa or whatever, we wouldn't give half a turd about him. Look at Iwobi (who at least can do a job out there, albeit with no end product) - looks bang average at Everton. Decent squad player, don't get me wrong, but you can't be a star attacking player if you can't shoot or finish - it's that simple. Jury's out on whether Saka can be more than squad depth for a good Arsenal side. Who have you said is good?

😆
I think Saka has more of an x-factor. His balance, strength and ability to past people along with that mentality you talk about makes him much more dangerous. He's got a good engine too and does a lot of work for the team. He shows for the ball a lot and is usually one of our most progressive players. He's also 2 years younger than Nelson with a lot less experience to date.
Early days but he's one of the most exciting teenagers I've seen at Arsenal.
Yeah Nelson is lacking in some vital areas that Saka excels in and time will tell whether those can be addressed, but his technical ability is on another level for me. It's a shame he got injured when he did because he was just starting to come out of his shell.
Rumours on Twitter that Real Madrid want to do a deal for Auba and include Jovic. Would anyone take that?
[edit]Just seen the source for this is Duncan Castles, take with a bit pinch of salt!

I was independently thinking of this deal this morning. It’s risky given Jovic’s failure to launch, but it’s the type of proactive move we should make to protect asset value in the squad. I would absolutely do it. Would also look to get a senior wide forward to strengthen overall frontline in the process.
Seen enough, wish to see this next summer
OUT - AMN, Sokratis, Mustafi, Torreira, Xhaka, Ozil, Lacazette.
In - Atal, Upamecano, Sangaré, Aouar/Bruno Fernandes, Ziyech, Osimhen/Haaland

Can’t argue too much with the outs. I’d keep Torreira as depth. Of your list in really like Upamecano, Sangare and Fernandes. Those 3 would be game changers. With Laca out, Ziyech would also be nice. Lots of work to do. That’s why we needed a coach last international break

Me too. He's been pumping them in recently.
I really want a proper dribbler who is able to draw defenders and release balls at right time. Like Ziyech or Grealish in midfield will be very different for our current other options.
Lacazette is just rubbish for us these days. Even Origi is stronger, faster and more useful leading the line. Which is why someone like Osimhen who is ridiculously quick and powerful will be a game changer
Bruno Fernandes would get so many goals from midfield I don't even care what else he has
I agree. That Ozil role is just not working right now. I’m missing the idea of a Ramsey who works at full (not 50%) capacity. Fernandes is a beast. His productivity from midfield is unheard of in this league since lucky Lampard. With him and a strong guy like Sangare behind your midfield is automatically more balanced, giving you flexibility on your 3rd. Can be a DLP or another B2B. And then Ziyech, Striker, Pépé is an altogether more balanced attack.
Given the state of affairs, logic might suggest a full rebuild. Jazz mentioned rumors of Jovic-Aubameyang. I would do this. And then I would sell Lacazette anyway because he is not elite and can fund great players like Ziyech, Fernandes and Upamecano in other positions. This may sound drastic but we aren’t going to win a title in the next year. We might as well use this crisis to build the team that will win in 2021/22

If Real are willing to part with Jovic we should just buy Jovic instead of selling them Auba.
I'm assuming (in this hypothetical scenario that I doubt there is any truth in) that part of the reason they're willing to part with Jovic would be because they could get Auba.
Probably, but it's not like they're starved for a striker with Benzema in this form. Giving them a chance to recuperate their money plus a few million for a player Zidane only rates slightly higher than Carl Jenkinson might be tempting to them.
True. Depends on how much they value Auba I guess. We were talking about if Auba still has value if we were to sell him or if it's too late, and if there's no money changing hands in this deal then it'd be the same as getting ish £50m for Auba I guess.
