I thought Sarr's dribbling, touch and passing looked really weak over the two legs against us. He had Monreal on toast in the first leg, but who doesn't these days? The way Sarr beat him was just push and run and nearly every time his pass or shot at the end of the run was poor.

Rashford has suffered immensely with Mourinho as his manager and it could have permanently affected his development playing like a park or rb/lb on the wings.

Same with Martial.

Mourinho has done a proper job on Utd.

They weren't any better under van Gaal. And they've bombed now under Solksjaer.

Martial, in particular, always gets this line of defence. He's just not that good.

They both lack fundamental attributes to excel in any one position. In my opinion, that's their biggest problem. Not who their manager is

Martial came in at 19 under LVG and had a great season scoring 17 goals.

Some of them were quite crucial too in the FA Cup for instance.

He was better under LVG at 19 than he has been since.

Martial is fundamentally a good player who has been mismanaged. I would still take him. Emery would turn him into a man. He’s young enough to right.

I don't know if Martial will come good again, but to say that he wasn't better under LvG is madness in my opinion. He was great under him.

I'd take Martial over Rashford anyway. If Martial is to move I'd happily take him at Arsenal. He's the sort of player we need.

I can accept a bit of laziness from him if he is beating his man and scoring goals. He's still only 23 too, he can fix his flaws with the right direction.

I want someone with his attributes but with some hunger. Hes already being overpaid so no way we can afford his massive wage demands and he surely cant be worth the risk. Wed be better off bidding for a younger player on a 5th of his wages and similar talent.

Yeah well whether I'd pay big for him is another thing. He's the right type 9f player though IMO.

I still want Fraser mainly. Him and a big signing at CB is where I'd put most of our resources. Try to pick up some cheap decent full backs then. After that I'd look for internal solutions. I think that'd be a realistic summer that'd improve us significantly.

I'm coming around on Fraser too. I think he'd be excellent in the short term while we keep searching for a top class wide man, and you never know how he'll develop. Maybe he'll explode in the right environment.

Yeah. Get him, CB and a dominant midfielder to start. That would be 100m plus but we can fund it.
I’m very nervous about this team right now. Almost feels like this was a wasted season. Might as well have used it rebuilding if this is the trash we were going to get to to.

CB and LB are more urgent I feel, doubt there’s much left after they’re sorted so i went for using our best youth to fill other positions.

Saka can’t do much worse than Mkhi and Iwobi anyway.
