My wish is that we see a big step up from some of the young guys in the squad. I'm looking at Mavropanos, Chambers, Maitland Niles and Nketiah as the main ones with Nelson and Smith Rowe being a bonus. If those guys can step up in a similar vein to what we've seen in the past from Fabregas, Bellerin, Wilshere etc. we'd be in good shape.
Hopefully by the end of the season Mavropanos and Chambers have done so amazingly well that they start the 19/20 season as our first choice partnership and Nketiah has a Kane like breakthrough season. We need a lucky break to bridge the gap.
